Show your customers that you care about the issues important to them
It’s important that your potential and current clients and customers know that your company is committed to doing more for the community and the planet. By partnering with Free Geek, your company will make that obvious in a real way especially in the areas of digital inclusion and sustainability.
Just this year, Commissioner Lori Stegmann challenged businesses in the Portland metro area to “step up and think about how we can support Free Geek.” Partnering with Free Geek means joining the ranks of Multnomah County, the City of Portland, Ice Breaker, Boeing, ON Semiconductor, and many others.
Ways to Get Involved
Make a Financial Contribution
In the 21st century, access to computers and the internet has become essential to all aspects of life. Without it, full participation in nearly every aspect of American society is compromised. Your tax-deductible contribution helps Free Geek get technology into the hands of people in our community. Even small donations can go a long way in getting this resource to someone who needs it.
Donate Technology
Not only are your donations tax-deductible, they directly impact underserved members of your own community. In addition to getting technology into the hands of the people who need it, your contributions also help to fund our free class offerings, technical support, and volunteer programs.
In 2018, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler released a letter explaining the City of Portland's partnership with Free Geek and encouraging businesses to do the same.
You don’t need to worry about data security when you donate technology to Free Geek. Everything that comes through our doors goes through a strict data destruction process.

We also appreciate extra tickets to industry events, where we can spread the word about Free Geek.
